Splatter - Letting Go of Control

Phoenix Whispers

Rise Strong. Rise Renewed.

There are moments in life when we simply don’t know what’s coming next - and instead of tightening up, we choose to trust.

Those rare times when we’re not the planner, the organiser, or the one holding everything together.

Just a human being, stepping into the unknown with curiosity instead of control.

I help parents and educators regain confidence, clarity, and renewal - and the story I’m sharing today touches the very heart of that journey.

My daughters told me only two things: old shoes and old trousers.

That was it. No clues, no hints, nothing to anchor myself to. I realised how unusual it was - to be the one in the dark, to have no plan, and to simply trust the people I love.

As we arrived, the mystery unfolded.

The Splatter Room - an art studio bursting with colour before we’d even lifted a brush.

Paint streaked across walls, floors, corners. A joyful chaos. A room alive with energy.

The rules were simple.

The purpose was joy.

And suddenly… we were in it - flicking, throwing, splattering paint at the canvas before us.

Not thinking. Not trying. Not perfecting.

Just being.

We danced. We sang. We created something wild and wonderful.

Art born not from precision, but from freedom.

From release.

From letting go.

It was one of the best times we’ve ever had together.

A splatter paining in saffron tones made by splattering paint on a canvas.

Sometimes the most meaningful creation happens when we loosen our grip and trust the moment.

·         Letting go can reveal a version of ourselves we haven’t seen in a while.

·         Joy often arrives when control steps aside.

·         Trust creates space for connection - with others and with ourselves.

·         Creativity flourishes when perfection is no longer invited.

·         The unknown can be a doorway to the most colourful memories.

The Whisper

When you loosen your grip, life splatters colour exactly where you didn't expect it.

Where might you allow a little more freedom

- and trust - in your own canvas right now?

I help empower overwhelmed school leaders to ignite clarity,

reclaim their time and renew their energy.

Empower. Ignite. Renew.

I’m here when you’re ready to explore your next step.
